The Scaldic 9 day Summer Blot

Train your ability to add words to your trolldom.

Train to formulate trollformulas and add words to your trolldom.

Experience Traditional Scaldic Battles and Nid poems:

A Scaldic battle is a battle in storytelling – expressing oneself in poetic language without getting

caught in them, attacking the other with harshness or get them off balance by explicit sexual

enticement. The one caught in the story - or discover themselves being caught in the story has lost

(and should go cleanse).

Unleash the Gods & Godesses;

Unleash the storms of against those who are mountains,

Protect little poetic sprouts and flower buds.

Let Odin speak his wisdom

Frey and Freya caress and taunt

Frigga spin her webb

Let your crone fly across the sky!

Unleash every aspect of your nature and let it clash against the others

Be a wave on the beach,

The fire in the stove

A summer rain!

Be the Huldra or the troll in the forest,

A nix in the pond,

Unleash whatever you want.

But fight! Make love with words and play Natures grand game!

If you find that words hit you, that’s the point

Don´t let them be captured in a story

If you react and respond with words not poetic or elegant or beautiful,

Then you have lost, must stand aside and make efforts to cleanse the story triggered.

Be caressed, be hit, be scratched and kissed. But don´t hurt or harm.

Start small, start silly and grow for nine days!

Any words, no matter how small or big is a contribution brought to the offering pyre!
